New Ward 8

The New Ward 8 is a result of redistricting in the City of Cleveland, where the number of wards in Cleveland is based on the City population. As a result of the 2020 Census, Cleveland’s population was under 375,000 resulting in Cleveland going form 17 to 15 Wards, starting in 2026. The neighborhoods that make up the New Ward 8 are:

  • AsiaTown (Goodrich-Kirkland Park)
  • Downtown (part)
  • Glenville (part)
  • Hough
  • St. Clair-Superior
